Islands in Kerala

God's Own Country Kerala is one of the best tourist spots in the world where water sports and water resources are in plenty. It is a land known for its beaches, backwaters, rivers and lakes, each of which remain highly attractive to the tourists. Some of the land parts of Kerala is surrounded by water, making them gain the name islands of Kerala. These islands, in comparison to the size of other islands, are small.

But of course they have all the peculiar features of an island. Dharmadam island, Munroe Island, Valiyaparambu, Vypin, Nedungad, Parumala, Ezhumanthuruthu, Wellington Island, Pulinkunnu, Ramanthuruthu, Kavvayi, Gundu Island, Kuruvadweep, etc. are some of the top islands in Kerala.

These islands are major tourist spots in Kerala too. A good percentage of tourists who visit Kerala are keen to live in these islands which are less polluted and less crowded. All the more they are fascinated by the serene beauty of these Kerala islands.
