  The much awaited and exciting season is coming up to set the adrenaline pumping. Preparations are full swing in view of the upcoming Nehru Trophy boat race in Alappuzha's Punnamada lake. Kumarakom town boat club and Vembanadu boat club have already started practice sessions. Coming up are days of mock race and betting.
